The best 44 cents I've ever spent. Ever.

Oh the old Village Discount record bin comes through every once in a while.
Unless you're a fan of Johnny Mathis or Mitch Miller, there's usually no records worth buying (Seriously, did all of Johnny Mathis's fans die? But I digress).

Today was no different, until I came across an album by Scott Baio. "Oh my God this is hilarious!" I thought.  But still, I was a little torn on whether I should by it. I know it's only 44 cents, but if you buy stuff at resale shops based on irony, then eventually you'll accumulate a bunch of crap you never use.

I decided to drop the 44 cents and buy it.
After listening to it once, I have concluded this album is great and definitely worth 44 cents.
Why?
1) It's obviously Scott Baio singing, which makes it wonderful.
2) The lyrics are so bad, they're good.
3) The album has a high production value.
4) It's actually catchy and fun to listen to.

What's the record like?
It sounds like if the bands Air Supply, Huey Lewis and The News, and Hall and Oats created a super-group, made Scott Baio the lead singer, and decided to only write theme songs for sitcoms.

I dropped another 99 cents on Amazon so you could get a taste of the genius.
This one's called, Half the World. (I made a video using footage at a party, where friends helped me with a campaign for the product, Bacon Salt)
