My Doppelganger?

Okay, a friend sent this picture to me and said this man looks like me.

Thing I really like:
that someone thinks I look like this dapper dressing, Guiness drinking, unabashedly heterosexual man.

I kiss in public too. I don't care.

What I'm listening to now.

Mountain Goats + Super Tramp + (5% ELO) + (10% Decemberists minus the pretentious vocabulary) + (.1% Ryan Adams vocals) = fun.

Good positive fall music.

Vintage ads that would never run today.

I came across this vintage ad. Wow.

If anyone questions if the feminist movement was (is) necessary, needs to look at this ad.

My nephew's outfit choice for his first day of school.

Camouflage and tie-dye are like Gucci and Armani to a 5 year old.
Well done Nico.

Bella

Of course I really like my improv group, Bella.
Every Monday, at the Playground Theater. Only $5. BYOB.

This is our new photo. Check out my package.

AD Miles and Horrible People.

AD Miles is quickly becoming one of my favorite comedy writers.

I always thought he was funny from his work on Stella and in Wet Hot American Summer, but since he's been the head writer on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, I've come to really enjoy his style. On Late Night, they created a mini series that ran every Monday night this past summer called 7th Floor West. If you haven't seen it, it's great. Look it up.

Horrible People, a mini series Miles wrote/produced last year, is my favorite thing right now. (This had to help with his hiring on Late Night). It's a ten part series, with each episode lasting 4-6 minutes. So the whole thing's really short. Please watch it so we can quote it at parties.

The best 44 cents I've ever spent. Ever.

Oh the old Village Discount record bin comes through every once in a while.
Unless you're a fan of Johnny Mathis or Mitch Miller, there's usually no records worth buying (Seriously, did all of Johnny Mathis's fans die? But I digress).

Today was no different, until I came across an album by Scott Baio. "Oh my God this is hilarious!" I thought.  But still, I was a little torn on whether I should by it. I know it's only 44 cents, but if you buy stuff at resale shops based on irony, then eventually you'll accumulate a bunch of crap you never use.

I decided to drop the 44 cents and buy it.
After listening to it once, I have concluded this album is great and definitely worth 44 cents.
Why?
1) It's obviously Scott Baio singing, which makes it wonderful.
2) The lyrics are so bad, they're good.
3) The album has a high production value.
4) It's actually catchy and fun to listen to.

What's the record like?
It sounds like if the bands Air Supply, Huey Lewis and The News, and Hall and Oats created a super-group, made Scott Baio the lead singer, and decided to only write theme songs for sitcoms.

I dropped another 99 cents on Amazon so you could get a taste of the genius.
This one's called, Half the World. (I made a video using footage at a party, where friends helped me with a campaign for the product, Bacon Salt)
