An email from Michel Gondry's  staff:

Hello michelgondry.com customer,

We are very sorry to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, 
and a recent change in Mr. Gondry’s production schedule, he will not 
be able to complete your sketch within the promised time frame.

Mr. Gondry will not resume drawing personalized sketches until 
February 2010. At that point, all personalized sketches will be 
completed on a first-come first-served basis and as time allows.

If you would like to maintain your order, and wish to wait for your 
portrait, no action needs to be taken on your behalf - your order will 
be fulfilled as indicated above. We apologize but we are unable to 
provide any more specifics in regards to a completion date.

If you do not wish to or are unable to wait, michelgondry.com will 
offer you a full refund in accordance with your original payment 
method. Simply reply to this email to request the refund. It will be 
processed within 5 business days and you will receive a confirmation 
to the email address from which you placed the original order once 
complete.

PLEASE NOTE: Once a refund has been issued, your order will be 
canceled and you will not have the option of re-ordering a 
personalized sketch at the same introductory price of $19.95 in the 
future.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you and 
appreciate your understanding. Our fans mean the world to us which is 
why we are willing to accommodate you in the future, however it is 
impossible to do so at this time.
